the breakarch case with foliate inlay, fishscale sound frets to the sides below cornucopia ring handles, with ripple-moulded border to the rectangular base, on ball feet, the white painted dial signed JOS.H JOB Hastings, steel moon hands, the twin gut fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, pull trip repeat, pendulum holdfast to the backplate, movement securing brackets and seatboard replaced, possibly associated -- 17¼in.
