the case with later moulded and stepped top to the hood, outset columns, with three-quarter pilasters flanking the wavy arch trunk door, on skirted plinth, the 11½in. (29cm.) square brass dial with foliate scroll spandrels to the silvered chapter ring, the silvered and engraved centre signed George Eubank, date aperture and age of moon with penny moon above, the four pillar countwheel striking movement with anchor escapement -- 79in. (201cm.) high
