Concertina album containing sixty-six hand-tinted albumen prints, each approx. 8½ x 10½ in. or the reverse, the majority numbered and several titled in the negatives, titled in ink in German on mounts, edges paper-taped, tissue guards, Japanese cloth, 11 x 14 in.

Portraits of Japanese wrestlers, women at their toilet, women cooking and eating, dancing girls, acrobats, several portraits of Japanese actors with elaborate costumes and masks, musicians, women at an outdoor tea stall, four portraits of Buddhist priests (one illus.), the Korean ambassador, three portraits of Korean officials in the suite of the Korean, group portraits of Japanese in festival dress, geisha and twelve flower and plant studies, possibly by Ogawa.
