An exhibition standard 18':1'' scale waterline model of the ketch rigged barge 'Martinet'
built by E.J. Walpole with masts, standing and running rigging and full suit of sails set in a starboard reach, anchor, windlass, stove pipe, belaying rails, rope coils, hatches, deck winches, deck light, aft deck house and helm, companionways, bilge pump and dinghy with bottom boards thwarts and oars in davits, and members of the crew, finished in black with brown sails and mounted on a painted moulded seascape. Glazed case -- 7¼ x 9¼in. (18.5 x 23.5cm.)
