A shibayama style ivory vase with shaped silver foot, flaring neck and twin handles in the form of ho-o, enamelled with flowers and foliage, the ivory inset in mother-of-pearl, horn and hardstones with birds and butterflies in flight and perched amongst blossoming branches -- 9½in.
