A Lubbock Senior High School graduation announcement card, May 27th, 1955, the cover decorated with an illustration of Lubbock High School, gilt embossed lettering and a vignette of a bronco rider, the interior with an illustration of a cowboy, complete with a printed name card for Buddy Charles Holley and original envelope; and a corresponding programme giving an alphabetical list of the honor students including Buddy Charles Holley among the May graduates and also including his high school girlfriend Echo Elaine McGuire; accompanied by a letter regarding the provenance from Maria Elena Holly, Buddy Holly's widow stating that the programme is from the estate of her late husband (3)
