Three pages of rare autograph notes outlining conceptual ideas for the video of the hit single Material Girl, written in blue biro on expense report pages removed from an accounts' book, one page titled Movie Within A Movie beginning scene starts w Camera zooming in for a close up on door thats obviously a dressing room it has a big star on it...I come out in a tight red satin dress and rhinestones ala Monroe.. continuing with camera and dance directions ...she runs up steps into place and begins singing while the men dance in and go out (sic) of camera depending on lyrics for instance
They can beg/They can plead/Men Fall to knees/She ignores them/but the guy with the cold/hard cash is always Mister Right - 1 guy comes up with 100 bills splayed out like cards ...She likes this..she pulls a rhinestone necklace out of cleavage Guy puts it on... and continuing with a detailed breakdown of the grand finale and of the alternative storyline ...this action is intercut with scenes of the girl with her real life boy friend who is a mechanic or truck driver...very James Deanish jeans ripped & shirt sweaty... 3pp.; and a colour machine-print photograph of a still of Madonna in this sequence of the video
