signed on the frame Worthington, London, and inscribed on the lignum vitae handle No. 1, with silvered scale, vernier, tangent-screw fine adjustment on screw clamp, pin-hole sight, mirrors, the index arm 5 1/8in. (13cm.) radius, in fitted mahogany case with leather outer cover and carrying handle -- 7¾in. (19.7cm.) wide
