Miss Weston who inherited them from her great grandmother who is thought to have acquired them in 1688. Miss Weston was a descendant of Chevalier John d'Este, brother of Queen Mary Beatrice of Modena. Bequeathed by Miss Weston to Sophia Margaret Penn 1764, a relation of Miss Weston, granddaughter of William Penn of Pennsylvania and wife of the most Rev. and Hon. William Stuart, Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland. By descent to the vendor
