Miss Weston who inherited them from her great grandmother who is thought to have acquired them in 1688. Miss Weston was a descendant of Chevalier John d'Este, brother of Queen Mary Beatrice of Modena. Bequeathed by Miss Weston to Sophia Margaret Penn 1764, a relation of Miss Weston, granddaughter of William Penn of Pennsylvania and wife of the most Rev. and Hon.
