TWO ROMAN GLASS PILLAR-MOULDED BOWLS, one green coloured, the exterior wall of the shallow hemispherical bowl decorated with twenty-four tapering ribs; the other bowl deeper and of pale blue colour with fourteen thick ribs -- 5 7/8in. (14.8cm.) and 5in. (12.7cm.) diam. respectively, 1st Century B.C./A.D.; and a Sassanian thick green glass bowl, the exterior decorated with facet-cut ovals, repaired with some restoration -- 7in.
