A ROMAN PALE GREEN ENGRAVED GLASS FLASK, the spherical body with short cylindrical neck, the neck gently flaring and with ground rim, the wheel-cut decoration comprising a faint Greek good fortune inscription, each letter engraved with double lines, above a broad encircling band of cross-hatching, parallel lines around the neck, slight encrustation -- 5 1/8in. (13cm.) high, 4th Century A.D.; and two glass unguentaria, with squat bodies and cylindrical necks, inward-folded everted rims, each with thick cream encrustation -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) and 6 1/8in. (15.5cm.) high, circa 2nd Century A.D. (3)
