A SOUTH ITALIAN RED-FIGURE MINIATURE POTTERY PYXIS, of reel-shaped form, the disc lid with female head in profile to the right, worn with repairs -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) high, late 5th Century B.C.; a group of black glazed vessels comprising an askos, the flat circular body with arched handle and spout with flaring rim -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) across; another with deep body pierced with central shaft -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) high; a handled cup, the swelling body on ring foot -- 3½in. (8.8cm.) high; and two dishes, one with repaired single handle -- 2 7/8in. (7.3cm.) diam. max., all 4th Century B.C.; and a Corinthian miniature pottery skyphos, decorated with red and black encircling bands, black zigzag band below the rim, repaired -- 3¼in.
