A group of six Roman stone weights
1st-2nd Century A.D.
Comprising a large white stone weight of truncated sphere form (part missing), the upper face with remains of iron tangs for a handle, 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) high; and five similar black serpentine weights graduating in size, the largest with a conical recess to take a handle (now missing), 3048.9, 1597.5, 967.7, 107.7 and 53.3 grams (6)
