A pair of tapering baluster vases with mallet shaped handles, painted and gilt with mandarin ducks amongst irises and trailing wisteria, the shoulders with shaped panels of peonies and prunus on geometric grounds -- 9½in. (24cm.) high, signed Meizan yaki.
