Lot Essay

This was the first Test match after the war, held on December 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st and 22nd, 1920. Australia won by 377 runs, with H. L. Collins and W. W. Armstrong both scoring centuries in the massive second innings total of 581.

Some repairs and light abrasions. Curiously, the date of the match appears to be wrongly given as "Oct. 18" rather than December. FINE IMAGE OF THE GROUND AT THIS DATE.
