A Chinese red lacquer bottle vase
carved with seven Immortals and two attendants at a table drinking tea and at conversation in a terraced garden among willow, peonies and rockwork, the reverse with another shaped panel of a further seven Immortals in a bamboo grove, flanked and below panels of phoenix and butterflies among peonies between ruyi-head and lappet borders, on geometric pattern grounds, the rims with key-frets, on a black lacquer stand carved with further geometric motifs -- 20.in (50.8cm) high overall, gilt Qianlong six-character marks to the vase and stand and of the period.
