Lot Essay

Born in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Kasagi graduated from Tokyo School of Fine Arts, department of sculpture in 1928. From 1929 he exhibited in Nika-Kai Association. He won various prizes between 1929 and 1949. He was made Professor of Tama Art University.
