The cannelee case mounted with painted porcelain panels to the sides and rear door, the side panels depicting a man fishing from a boat on a lake and a woman walking down a forest path holding firewood, the rear panel showing a riverscape, the Roman dial with retailer's signature HADDON & FRANKLIN, TAUNTON, with scene of a path running beside a pond below, blued moon hands, silvered lever platform to the bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on gong on the backplate numbered 9442
