each painted with a classical scene, titled 'Bachantinen' and 'Amor ontraffnet', signed C. Herr, within gilt beaded rectangular panels issuing scrolling leaves on a claret and a dark blue ground, blue shield marks, circa 1900 (first plate with minor chip to rim) -- 23.5cm. diam.
