A 19th-Century part post-mortem set,
unsigned, containing ebony handled bone saw, hammer, chisels, bone forceps, Liston knives and other instruments in plush-lined case with removable tray -- 16¾in. (42.5cm.) long (a few instruments lightly rusted, lacking lid of case); and a 19th-Century part surgeon's pocket set, containing knives, catheters and other instruments, the gilt tooled wallet with decorative clasp by Mathieu -- 6½in. (16.3cm.) long (some rust and old damages to instruments, some mildewing to wallet).
