Perhaps Partly 16th Century
With one-piece skull with high roped comb, visor with stepped sight and lifting-peg, fitting deeply into the upper-bevor, lower bevor shaped to the chin, and two gorget plates at front and rear, the main edges turned and roped and with recessed borders etched throughout with bands containing running foliage, trophies and grotesque masks against a blackened granular ground
