An Imari bowl with widely flaring rim
painted and gilt with birds in flight amongst millet and above aquatic weeds and shells beside rockwork -- 7¼in. (18.5cm.) diam; a shaped dish with birds amongst maple -- 10¼in. (26cm.) wide; another bowl with a multitude of cranes in flight -- 9½in. (24cm.) diam; an Imari charger painted to the centre with a pseudo armorial crest within a border of karashishi and shrews amongst vines -- 16¼in. (41cm.) diam; and a Chinese polychrome enamelled bowl with a phoenix and dragon chasing a flaming pearl -- 12¼in. (31cm.) diam, iron-red Qianlong seal mark. (5)
