A Safavid carnelian and translucent honey agate three-sectional presentation bazu-band
set on white-metal mounts and applied on a leather strap, each plaque carved with verses from the Qu'ran within bands of interlacing arabesques -- the central plaque 1¾.in (4.5cm) wide, the outer plaques 1½.in (3.8cm) wide, each dated 1111 AH, (1689 AD).

This bazu-band was probably made for presentation to a wrestling champion.
