of vase form with reeded loop handles and bead borders, engraved on one side with a portcullus within a lattice cartouche and inscribed on the other "To Mr Gabriel Bray, Commander of the Nimble, Admiralty Cutter, Presented, by order of the Commissioners of His Majesty's Customs, In Testimony.....25 Dec 1784", converted from an urn by removal of spigot, maker's mark unclear, 1784 - 45cm high, 64.5oz.
