of baluster form on a collet foot with a C-scroll handle engraved with an armorial below an Earl's coronet, probably colonial, the arms are those of Ramsay, possibly for George, 9th Earl of Dalhousie (1770-1838), from 1819-1823 he was Governor in Chief of Canada, ummarked - 26cm high, 42oz.
