with short slightly everted neck, painted in coloured enamels with shaped panels of confronting phoenix and dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst flower sprays, all on a ground of fruit cartouches and geometric designs, the neck with foaming waves and rockwork -- 13¾in. (35cm.) high, (minor scratching to glaze.)
