A commemorative tumbler
engraved with a crown above crossed sword and sceptre, the reverse inscribed KING & CONSTITUTION. on a ribbon cartouche, above fluted lower section, circa 1830 -- 10cm. high

This inscription was a fairly common sentiment of loyalty during the Napoleonic Wars, and can also be found on commemorative pottery of the period, see John and Jennifer May, Commemorative Pottery (London 1972), p.85
