A Qajar lacquer qalamdan
painted with three cartouches of figures in European river landscapes on yellow grounds decorated with rose sprays and scrolling arabesques -- 8 3/8in. (21.2cms) long; another painted overall in gilt with trailing, fruiting vines -- 8¼in. (21cms) long; and a further qalamdan decorated with the gul-o-bulbul pattern, (damaged).
