A late 18th century French necessaire a parfum,
the painted wooden box with lift-up cover and interior mirror, fitted with mounted cut-glass scent flacons and four eau de toilet bottles with stoppers and chains, also containing two small scent funnels (one later); a small fluted dish - 7.5cm dia, and a miniature beaker of campana form, each piece with a discharge mark for Paris 1756-62, the beaker with a maker's mark DL? (partly mis-struck), the box measuring - 16cm x 20.5cm x 19.5cm.
