The case with waisted pediment and surmounted by an urn with naturalistic branch handles, with conforming mounts to the front and base, with elephant mask mounts to the sides above bowed porcelain panels painted with a chinese lady and gentleman respectively against a silvered ground, conforming dial with floral sprays and chinoiserie chapters, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell stamped on the backplate for Richard & Co. -- 16½in. (42cm.) high; with giltwood plinth
