The case surmounted by an equestrian group of a cuirassed knight wearing a crown and holding a banner, his steed prancing over armour on the naturalistic base, the swag-hung plinth with inset white marble panels (one lacking) and flanked by military trophy uprights, a quiver mount below the white enamel Roman dial (cracking and chipping) with signature HRY. MARC A PARIS, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell -- 24in. (61cm.) high
