The drum-shaped case surmounted by an eagle with displayed wings and flanked by flambeau ball finials, on tapering columnar supports with torchere mounts, on stepped rectangular base with bead and reel border mounts and bun feet, with floral swag hanging below the white enamel Roman dial (chip to left winding hole), steel crescent moon hands, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 20¾in. (53cm.) high; and the wall bracket en suite, the rectangular platform on scroll supports, with gilt-metal mounts -- 9¼in. (23.5cm.) high
