The case with ball finials to the top with arched pediment, reeded pilasters, with gilt-bronze panel to the front with foliate cast mount, the square dial with gilt foliate spandrels to the silvered chapter ring with retailer's signature W.C.NORTH, matted centre, the twin barrel movement with anchor escapement and ting-tang strike on two gongs, stamped B&B on the backplate -- 15in. (38cm.) high
