A 5-inch (13cm.) diameter terrestrial miniature table globe, made up of twelve hand coloured engraved gores, the equatorial graduated in degrees and hours (in Roman numerals), the ecliptic graduated in days and showing the signs of the houses of the zodiac, the oceans showing the routes of explorers' voyages, the Antarctic showing Enderby's Land, Alaska marked Russian Territory, IMPROVED ANALEMMA to Pacific Ocean (cracked and damaged with loss of paper and plaster), with brass half meridian ring divided into two quadrants, mounted on turned wooden pillar on Y-shaped wooden base with bun feet (repaired crack to base) -- 9½in. (24cm.) high overall
