Decorated with lines, the rectangular panelled top enclosing a fitted interior with a tripartite hinged mirror above two hinged trays and two wells, each above a secret drawer, the dressing set comprising: three hand mirrors; two brushes; one shoe horn; nine various glass bottles and boxes; seven manicure instruments; one boot-hook; two pots; and one bottle lid, above an arched kneehole flanked to either side by a short drawer, on square tapering legs terminating in brass caps and castors, with two electric light fitments, with a metal label embossed S.J., some fittings missing
