A Royal Worcester Japonaiserie pot-pourri and cover
designed by James Hadley, modelled as a censer, the finial formed as a caparisoned elephant above three panels pierced with branches and a band of pierced hexagons, the bowl moulded with branches and supported by three elephants' heads, enriched in colours and gilt, puce and impressed mark, date code for 1874 (slight wear to gilt) -- 22cm. high
