the body moulded hounds attacking wild boar within oval cartouches between acorns and oak leaves on a pale blue ground, the cover with similar ornament below a boar's head finial, the handles formed as stags' heads below leaf moulded thumb-pieces, the interior enriched in lilac, the underside in tortoise-shell glazes, shape 5255, impressed marks, circa 1875 (minor star crack to liner) -- 30cm. wide
