with rams' mask handles, moulded in relief and painted with two vignettes of putti emblematic of the Arts between bands of stiff leaves and swags of flowers, the stem moulded with putti among scrolling clouds, on a square foot, blue crowned N mark, late 19th century (restored to rim, slight wear to gilt) -- 38cm. high
