signed GAUCHERON composuit, the round, turned wooden box in two halves, the cover with rotating metal disc with printed label showing days of the week and religious feast days, and instructions including an example, turning over a printed label showing dates and months, the base with printed label with tables showing the date of Easter for the years 1830-77, and the variance between mean and solar time through the year (rotating disc lacking axis pin) -- 3½in. (9cm.) diameter
