A Naples (Real Fabrica Ferdinandea) portrait coffee can and saucer
painted with Maria Carolina, daughter of Francesco I and Maria Clementina d'Asburgo, within a seeded gilt oval medallion reserved on a band of pansies between gilt bands of scrolling foliage, key pattern band and panels of flowerheads, the interior gilt with a flowerhead, stripes and flowers, the saucer with a gilt flowerhead radiating acanthus leaves within a serpent, iron red crowned N mark, circa 1805
