An American 32-Bore Contract Model 1819 Hall Breech-Loading Flintlock Rifle

With sighted barrel rifled to within 1½in. (3.8cm.) of the muzzle and retained by three spring-held barrel bands, pivoting action stamped 'U.S. S North Midltn. Conn 1832', and released by a hooked lever protruding through the stock in front of the trigger-guard, walnut full stock, iron mounts, iron sling swivels, and original iron ramrod (some light pitting)

A total of 5,700 of these rifles were produced between 1830 and 1836
