15th Century, probably German
Entirely of riveted rings except for the collar, hip-length and open down the front, the straight lower edge with a tongue-like extension at the rear centre that could be pulled up between the legs, with full-length sleeves, standing collar of smaller rings, alternate rows riveted and solid, and original iron hooks and buckles (some probably missing)
