the saddled horse standing four square on a rectangular base with its head turned slightly to the left, the rider wearing a tunic and peaked hat with one arm folded across his chest, trace of red, white and black pigments remaining -- 14½in. (36.8cms) high, Tang Dynasty, (old wear and some restoration).
