the saddled horse standing four square on a rectangular base with its head lowered, the figure wearing a tuni and hood, turning to his right with arms raised ready to beat the drum attached below, traces of red and back pigments remaining -- 13½in. (34.3cms) high, Tang Dynasty, (old wear and restoration).
