cover 1865 (14 Feb.) entire to New York, marked "via Marseilles", bearing 1863-70 CC 4c. greenish grey, 6c. lilac and 96c. olive-bistre (two short perfs at foot and insignificant crease at upper right corner), each cancelled "B62" in blue, showing London Paid transit c.d.s. (29.3), curved unframed "PAID" and "42/CENTS" accountancy h.s., all in red. A magnificent showpiece and much the finer of the two covers known to us bearing the rare 96c. Photo in colour
