cover 1860 (14 May) printed letter to Adelaide "Via...Galle" (originally via Aden but this has been crossed through) bearing a fair strike of the broken double-lined despatch c.d.s. (type 2) with framed "PAID" struck in top corner and Adelaide arrival, endorsed "4" in red crayon and "Hongkong" in blue crayon with Hong Kong transit c.d.s. on reverse. Note: This despatch c.d.s. is very scarce with less than twenty-five examples recorded, it is particularly desirable when used in combination with the PAID handstamp which are only found used for nine months in 1860.
