cover 1885 (13 May) neat envelope to Tokyo, bearing Hong Kong 1882 CA 5c. blue cancelled by "BANGKOK" c.d.s. with another strike on face and showing, on reverse, "HONG KONG/A" (21.5), "YOKOHAMA" and native arrival c.d.s. Extremely fine and a fabulous showpiece. Webb recorded only one cover bearing Hong Kong adhesives, which was from the same correspondence (B.H. Chamberlain, 5.3.1884) as this one. B.P.A.
