The compressed body decorated with a wide border of archaistic emblems including multi-coloured taotie, dragons and phoenix with scrolling bodies symmetrically aranged around bi disks, with similar bands around the flared base, and waisted neck, the shoulder further decorated with gilt-bronze bosses divided by four dragon-masks in relief, each above shaped flanges on the body and foot, the rim encirled by a gilt band of key-fret (minor losses to enamel)
