Each with the design outlined in underglaze-blue and vividly enamelled in brilliant colours with a central medallion enclosing three highly stylized phoenix circling a composite flower-head borne on leafy stems, the exterior similarly decorated with a frieze of further phoenix amid flowers above a narrow 'C'-scroll and dot border encircling the foot
