The recumbent buffalo carved in the round, its head turned slightly to the right, lightly incised with a spiral between two curling horns, its tail swishing to the right, the right foreleg bent to the side, the other legs tucked under the body, the stone with areas of pale celadon to the left side, the right side predominantly with grey areas and streaks, with a fine, even polish
